ELTA Live | First steps at building your legaltech Start-Up: a Sudolabs/Sparring workshop

Legaltech startups (and scaleups alike) often struggle with strategic, legal and administrative issues. A brilliant idea can fail as a product if the founders neglect these crucial issues at an early stage.
To help legaltech entrepreneurs to work on their skills, ELTA partnered with Sudolabs and Sparring to provide a workshop on product / tech and legal issues. Sudolabs and Sparring professionally guide legaltech startups on their quest of disrupting global legal markets. They have helped over 200 startups and founded a couple of legaltech startups themselves.

The workshop will be split into two parts.

«Building a startup – early steps» will cover these topics:
• How to validate product ideas early enough
• Framework for mitigation of main SW development risks
• Tools & approaches to validate ideas without coding
• Case studies from various industries & lifecycle stages

« Legal approaches in venture-building» will cover these topics:
• Agreements to consider when creating your MVP or at a hackathon
• Brand protection including
• IP assignments
• Protecting any company name, logo by reserving TMs
• Legalities of using Fiverr and other freelancer websites
• Using repositories/open-source libraries
• Data protection implications of collecting/processing data (commercial and personal information perspectives)

Join us on April 7 at 16.00 CET for this 2,5hr workshop.
