The webinar aims to achieve two primary objectives. 

Firstly, it seeks to provide participants with an understanding of how AI/ML technology works and the role data plays in the development of these systems. 

Secondly, it aims to explore the concepts of accountability, transparency, privacy and fairness in the context of responsible AI/ML. 

Given the crucial role of privacy compliance in these efforts, the webinar will discuss the approaches to privacy regulations adopted by both the United States and the European Union. 

Finally, it will discuss the forthcoming EU AI Act, focusing on its risk-based approach and highlighting the obligations outlined in this legislation.
