Mariam is a privacy professional professional in both Europe (CIPP/E) and the US (CIPP/US). Mariam has over four years of experience as an in-house lawyer across various industry sectors, specializing in data protection, contract drafting and legal compliance obtained in Estonia and Georgia.
She served as a policy researcher at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) in 2022-2023, where she contributed to “AI and Democratic Values,” a first comprehensive survey of national AI policies. She holds an LL.M. degree in Information Technology Law from the University of Tartu.
Currently Mariam resides in NY and is preparing for NY bar. She is enrolled at the Fordham University School of Law.
