Changes in ELTA’s Board and Ambassador Network

ELTA’s member from the very beginning, Orsolya Görgényi, is resigning from ELTA’s board. Orsolya has been active as ambassador for Hungary since the beginning and as a co-opted member of the Board since January 2020. In addition, the European Legal Technology was able to appoint further ambassadors, thus further expanding the European network.

After 5 years of actively shaping the association’s events, Orsolya Görgényi is resigning from the board and ambassadors’ network of the European Legal Technology Association for personal reasons. “We regret Orsolya Görgényi’s departure very much.”, says Holger Zscheyge, president of the Board of ELTA. “We thank her for the trustful cooperation, the constant advancement of our value preposition and her valuable expertise.”

Two new ambassadors were appointed in February 2021: With Christiana Aristidou for Cyprus and Elena Bortnovskaya for Belarus, ELTA was able to further consolidate its European network. Christiana Aristidou is a Business Technology Lawyer with over 23 years in practice, founder, and CEO of Christiana Aristidou LLC, a hybrid lawtech firm. Elena Bortnovskaya is Marketing and Innovation Manager at REVERA, a Minsk based law firm. “We are pleased to strengthen the diversity and expertise of our ambassador network with the newest additions and look forward to gaining insights into their national legal tech scenes,” says Tobias Heining who chairs ELTA’s ambassador network.

The board extends its heartfelt gratitude to leaving ambassador – María Jesús González-Espejo from Spain and Jānis Gavars from Latvia – for their work with ELTA. We would like to highlight our special thanks to María Jesús González-Espejo for her dedication and hard work for the past years as vice president and ambassador. The 2019 conference would not have been possible without her and the concept of the national chapters was her initiatives.
